The Journal of Heavy Metal Research (JHMR) is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary platform committed to advancing scientific understanding and innovative solutions related to heavy metals across geological, environmental, industrial, and societal contexts. Bridging fundamental research and practical applications, the journal fosters cutting-edge studies that address the complex challenges posed by heavy metals, from their geological origins and industrial utility to their environmental behavior, health impacts, and sustainable management.

JHMR invites original research, reviews, case studies, and policy analyses that explore multidisciplinary themes, including geological and exploration studies, chemical and advanced materials science for energy and industry, environmental contamination and remediation technologies, agricultural and food system safety, public health epidemiology, circular economy strategies, and computational tools for predictive modeling. Integrating insights from geology, chemistry, engineering, public health, and policy, this journal fosters collaborative endeavors to reconcile the applications of heavy metals with their associated environmental risks. The journal operates as an open-access platform and will not impose any publication fees through June 2026.
